Sr. Property Claims Adjuster

📋 Description

• Own the large-loss claims handling approach for Steadily.
• Manage a caseload of large and complex property losses exceeding $100k from assignment to resolution.
• Request appraisals, estimates, cause origin reports, and other investigation reports.
• Investigate the origin and cause by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, SIU, law enforcement, and other adjusters.
• Scope, evaluate, and negotiate high severity property damage, including total losses and structural damage.
• Set and maintain accurate reserves on high exposure files.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience adjusting P&C claims with large, complex losses >$100k.
• Adjuster license required; leadership experience a plus; AIC/ARM a plus.
• Self-driven; thrives under pressure; manages high-stakes caseload with precision.
• Hungry to join an early-stage tech company; not a traditional 9-5 job.
• Project management experience a plus; may assist on projects.
• Strong communication and investigation skills.
