Sr. Propulsion Design Engineer (Raptor Engine Systems)

📋 Description

• Partner with subsystem owners to translate requirements into lower-level criteria.
• Audit design docs to identify gaps/risks and drive closure.
• Review test/analysis data to verify criteria are met; follow up as needed.
• Develop and refine design review processes (DCR, PDR, CDR) for efficiency.
• Compile and deliver periodic design health reports to leadership.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and analysis teams to ensure design readiness for production.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, including 3D CAD modeling.
• 6+ years of professional 3D CAD experience with complex mechanical assemblies.
• 3+ years of experience owning hardware, systems, or projects from concept through delivery.
• 3+ years of experience solving problems involving fluid systems, heat transfer, and structural design.
• Proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS; SQL experience a plus.
