Sr QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Mentor engineers on quality principles and practices, including TDD and test design
• Define and own test strategy (unit, integration, contract, e2e) for the squad
• Develop production-grade automation code, testing tools, and test scripts
• Drive quality metrics (coverage, flakiness, test times, defect rates) and use data to prioritize
• Leverage AI tools to generate tests, identify coverage gaps, and accelerate quality feedback loops
• Participate in on-call and incident response, troubleshooting production issues using logs

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a software engineer or QA
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python
• Hands-on test automation experience (Web, API, Mobile) using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber
• Deep expertise in test architecture: unit, integration, contract, and e2e testing strategies
• Proficiency with CI/CD and test automation using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with tech stack: Java/Spring, Angular/Flutter, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Datadog
