Sr. Sample Log-In Technician

📋 Description

• Routes inbound packages to appropriate department
• Sorts packages, containing samples, according to turn around time, analytical and client
• Tracks all packages and reusable, bar-coded media in LIMS, returns all unused/returned media for
• Transfers samples between sample reception and sample custody room, upon login completion
• Removes and disposes rejected samples and media according to SOP guidelines
• Adheres to lab and sample management SOPs to ensure that the proper sampling, handling procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year degree in Microbiology/Chemistry, related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to cross multiple disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with LIMS or related systems
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
• Flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs
