Sr Scientist II/Principal Scientist in Bioprocess Engineering

📋 Description

• Develop robust manufacturing processes for bioprocesses through all phases of development
• Establish, communicate, and execute research plans to develop and characterize new assets
• Develop commercial ready manufacturing processes in the laboratory and demonstrate in pilot plant
• Set project strategies, define responsibilities and timelines, and provide leadership in matrixed
• Address challenging problems with biochemical reactions, separations, or isolations using expertise
• Author/review technical documents and contribute to regulatory filings

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering or related field with 12+ (BS), 10+ (MS), or 4+ (PhD)
• Strong background in chemical engineering
• Ability to solve difficult technical problems and champion new technologies
• Strong team player with scientific leadership and effective oral/written communication skills
• Biologics process development experience preferred (bioconjugation, ADC, protein purification)
• Knowledge of analytical techniques (UV/Vis, HPLC, FTIR, Raman, microscopy) preferred
