Sr. Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct proactive security reviews of new features, architectures, and third-party integrations.
• Build and improve security practices, including threat modeling and secure SDLC integration.
• Define security approaches for AI-powered systems, protecting AI/ML workflows and data.
• Review AI-assisted code contributions and evolve security policies as AI tools mature.
• Partner with engineering to remediate vulnerabilities from assessments and tests.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs with engineering guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in security engineering or related cybersecurity field.
• Proactive security reviews experience with threat modeling and architecture reviews.
• Strong knowledge of web security, cloud security, and modern authentication.
• Experience with AWS and GCP.
• Ability to read code in Python, Java/Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Understanding AI impact on cybersecurity and defensive AI tooling.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with prioritization and ownership.
• Ability to influence engineering without direct roadmap ownership.
