Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Upgrade distributed systems to be sharded and geo-redundant.
• Improve deployment, monitoring, and alerting for multi-region environments.
• Manage petabyte-scale bare metal compute clusters.
• Collaborate across programs to create scalable, maintainable products.
• Oversee software lifecycle from inception to deployment.
• Address performance bottlenecks and optimization techniques.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math or related field with 5+ years SRE/DevOps; OR 7+ years.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Kubernetes and Istio experience for on-prem deployment.
• Experience with in-stream data processing using Kafka, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Flink.
• Programming in Python, C#, Java, Scala, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of version control, testing, CI, build, deployment, and monitoring.
