Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Upgrade distributed systems to be sharded and geo-redundant across data centers
• Advance deployment, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure for multi-region environments
• Manage petabyte-scale bare metal compute clusters
• Collaborate across programs to build highly operable, scalable products
• Engage through the full software lifecycle from design to deployment
• Focus on performance bottlenecks and improvement techniques

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math or 7+ years software/SRE/DevOps in lieu of degree
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• 5+ years of site reliability or DevOps experience
• Kubernetes and Istio for on-prem deployment
• Experience with streaming data processing using Apache Kafka, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Flink
• Programming in Python, Java, or Go
