Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test, Performance QE

📋 Description

• Design and implement performance test strategies and plans (load, stress, endurance)
• Develop and maintain robust test scripts for HTTP, APIs, and FTP/SFTP
• Collaborate with DevOps to configure production-like performance environments
• Design and deploy containerized load generators on Kubernetes (JMeter, k6, Locust)
• Analyze results with monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks in app, DB, network, and infra
• Document findings and communicate with engineering and product stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years in Performance Testing/Engineering with scalable cloud-native multi-tenant architectures
• Tool Proficiency: JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, BlazeMeter
• Scripting/Coding: Java, Python, Golang, or JavaScript
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitoring/AI Tools: Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog or AI solutions
• Database: SQL/NoSQL databases and query performance optimization
• Education: BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
