Sr Software Engineer, Android Automotive

📋 Description

• Develop the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) platform for an in-house SOC.
• Bring-up and integrate low-level software (bootloaders, device trees, kernel porting) during
• Customize and optimize the Linux kernel and AOSP for the partner SOC.
• Develop Vendor HALs to interface hardware IP with Android framework.
• Drive system-level performance, including boot time, scheduling, thermal, and power efficiency.
• Clarify evolving requirements and stabilize interfaces for the software team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 3+ years in embedded software, low-level Android, or OS development.
• Strong Linux kernel, device drivers, IPC, and scheduling knowledge.
• Experience reading hardware specs and communicating software needs to hardware teams.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python/Shell) for tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AOSP, Android HALs, Treble/VNDK, and debugging tools.
