Sr. Software Engineer - Go/MongoDB

📋 Description

• Design and develop core features for MongoDB replication, backup, and recovery using Go.
• Build replication engines for data synchronization, change streams, resumability, and high availability.
• Improve resilience with fault-tolerant mechanisms for outages and recovery.
• Develop scalable backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery for MongoDB deployments.
• Enhance CLI tools, HTTP APIs, logging, metrics, and observability.
• Optimize performance, concurrency, and throughput in large-scale environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing production applications in Go (Golang).
• Concurrency concepts: goroutines, channels, worker pools, context management, synchronization.
• Experience designing distributed systems with data consistency, idempotency, and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on MongoDB experience: replica sets, change streams, oplog, large deployments.
• Experience building CLI apps, REST/HTTP APIs, and structured logging/monitoring.
• Strong testing mindset with automated tests and software quality.
