Sr. Software Engineer - Go/MongoDB

📋 Description

• Design and develop core features for distributed MongoDB replication, backup, and recovery with Go.
• Build and optimize replication engines for data sync, change streams, resumability, and high availability.
• Improve resilience with fault-tolerant mechanisms for network interruptions, failovers, and recovery.
• Develop scalable backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery for complex MongoDB deployments.
• Enhance CLI tools, HTTP APIs, logging, metrics, and observability for ops visibility.
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and security practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building production apps in Go (Golang).
• Deep understanding of concurrency: goroutines, channels, worker pools, context, synchronization.
• Experience designing or maintaining distributed systems with data consistency and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on MongoDB experience: replica sets, sharding, change streams, oplog, large-scale deployments.
• Experience building CLI apps, REST/HTTP APIs, and structured logging/monitoring solutions.
• Strong testing mindset with automated tests and quality focus.
