Sr. Software Engineer - Go/MongoDB (Remote)

📋 Description

• Primary focus on PCSM: initial cloning and continuous change capture.
• Ensure correctness and fault tolerance at scale across failures.
• Support sharded clusters, namespace filtering, and index management.
• Optimize performance: parallel cloning, backpressure, memory efficiency.
• Build and maintain CLI and HTTP API; instrument with metrics/logs.
• Collaborate openly; contributions via PRs and JIRA; open source ethos.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Go production experience; concurrency via goroutines/channels/context.
• MongoDB knowledge: change streams, oplog, replica sets, sharding.
• Experience building CLIs and HTTP APIs; observability with metrics/logs.
• Distributed systems fundamentals: exactly-once vs at-least-once, idempotency, resumability.
• Open source collaboration: Git, PRs, Jira; clear written communication.
• Nice to have: database internals or CDC experience.
