Sr. Software Engineer In Test - Embedded Payments

📋 Description

• Collaborate on test framework architecture and standards.
• Define and lead load and performance testing strategy.
• Build test harnesses for async, event-driven workflows (SQS, EventBridge, Lambda).
• Establish patterns for testing async financial operations: retry, idempotency, DLQ handling.
• Own CI/CD quality gates: pipeline integration and parallel execution.
• Drive API and contract testing across services to catch failures early.

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of experience in test engineering or software development; Bachelor's in a technical discipline.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform).
• Experience mentoring engineers or QA in engineering practices.
• Strong communicator to represent quality risk to engineers and leadership.
• Daily habit with AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
• Experience with test management tooling (Jira, XRay, Zephyr).
