Sr. Software Engineer (Node)

📋 Description

• Lead backend architecture and system design decisions covering service and API structures
• Design and implement complex backend features using Node.js and TypeScript, delivering
• Develop sophisticated Next.js API routes and Node.js services covering API contracts
• Create stable and well-documented interfaces that enable frontend and mobile engineering teams to
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to the Node.js engineering sub-team through code reviews
• Own backend performance optimization and help ensure services meet requirements for scalability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong primary focus on backend
• Deep, demonstrable proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js API routes, including
• Strong experience with relational and document database design and data-access patterns.
• Experience deploying and operating backend services on a cloud platform, with Azure experience
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, authentication and authorization
