Sr. Software Engineer, Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Design, build and operate Chronograph's cloud infrastructure
• Build reliable internal tooling to improve developer experience
• Build AI-assisted tooling to automate operational work safely and cost effectively
• Monitor application performance and help debug production issues
• Improve infrastructure performance, scalability and security
• Participate in on-call rotation and observability post-mortems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Eng roles
• Rails and Node.js production experience
• AWS, Kubernetes and managed databases
• Infrastructure as code, CI/CD and local development environments
• Performance tuning and hardened security across systems
• Observability tools for logs, metrics, tracing and alerts
• Evaluate architectures and provide clear recommendations
• Clear communication and documentation skills
• Passion for maintainable, secure, scalable code and infra
• Collaborative, positive team player
