Sr. Solutions Architect - Financial Services (Fintech / Data Providers)

📋 Description

• Partner with sales to show how Databricks solves business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture, run PoCs, and validate cloud integrations.
• Build and present reference architectures and how-tos.
• Promote Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog in communities.
• Travel to meet customers in your territory.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting.
• Experience designing distributed data systems.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience with global SI/consulting or financial services is a plus.
• Experience building solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
• Experience with SQL and data warehousing (OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• Undergraduate degree in engineering or mathematics.
