📋 Description

• Own the visual design direction of our design system—color, type, spacing, elevation, motion.
• Build and maintain components, templates, and patterns for scalable UI.
• Collaborate with a Design Technologist on AI prototyping tooling and Figma-to-code workflows.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and high-contrast support in all components.
• Drive system cohesion by tracking drift and closing gaps with engineering.
• Enable the team with office hours, critiques, and clear design guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design with design-system ownership at scale.
• Exceptional visual design craft; strong opinions on typography, color, spacing, motion.
• Detail-oriented, organized approach to systems, with clear states and edge cases.
• WCAG accessibility knowledge; partner with engineers on accessible components.
• Proven ability to enable designers via docs, critique, and coaching.
• Portfolio showing design-system work, templates, and accessibility decisions.
