📋 Description

• Develop and maintain quantitative models based on HDD architecture, physics, component behavior
• Ensure models account for cost estimates, sourcing considerations, engineering constraints
• Build forecasts incorporating baseline expectations, sensitivity analysis, and scenarios grounded
• Evaluate how technology decisions affect manufacturing throughput, scrap rates, production
• Build detailed, bottom-up HDD cost models covering mechanical, magnetic, electronic, and production
• Coordinate competitive cost teardowns, maintain competitive cost analysis models, and conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in technical modeling, systems analysis, technology strategy, or a related
• Deep understanding of HDD architecture, underlying physics, component functions, and manufacturing
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including experience developing, maintaining, and
• Thorough understanding of the competitive HDD marketplace and the ability to translate technical
