Sr. Storage Engineer - NetApp

📋 Description

• Provide expert NetApp storage support: perf, capacity, data protection.
• Own NetApp incidents end-to-end from triage to resolution.
• Lead hardware RMAs: drive/controller/shelf replacements and logistics.
• Perform root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Use NetApp tools (Active IQ) for health, risks, performance.
• Coordinate with networking/VMware/backup teams for multi-domain issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in storage engineering/administration/support; NetApp focus.
• Deep NetApp experience: AFF/FAS, ONTAP, StorageGRID.
• Proficient with data management tools: SnapMirror, SnapVault, Active IQ.
• Experience with hardware RMAs, replacements, logistics.
• Strong storage networking: FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB; VMware integration.
• Excellent documentation and customer-facing communication.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and create runbooks.
• NetApp certifications (NCDA/NCIE) a plus.
