Sr. Supplier Development Engineer, Battery (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Primary technical contact for engineered machined components across the supply chain.
• Improve part quality and cost via first-principles design and manufacturing methods.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; conduct technical assessments and qualification.
• Explore alternative manufacturing methods to reduce cost and lead times.
• Own NPI and qualification processes at suppliers for new parts and changes.
• Liaise with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, materials, metallurgical engineering.
• 6+ years in supply chain engineering, supplier development/quality, manufacturing, or design.
