Sr. Supplier Development Engineer, Data Center (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Analyze data center hardware from first principles with a mechanical focus.
• Own rack-level solutions and cross-domain design decisions.
• Lead RAS integration into data center strategy for uptime.
• Rack-level design for compute, storage, networking hardware.
• Provide guidance on PDUs, cooling, airflow, and high-density compute.
• Develop hardware qualification criteria and drive system optimization for high-volume installs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in mechanical/electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in data center hardware design, integration, or manufacturing.
• Master degree in mechanical/electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in hyperscale or large-scale data center development and rack solutions.
• Proficiency in DOE, significance testing, sample sizes; JMP and Python.
• Failure analysis: optical microscopy, SEM, CSAM, FIB, X-ray, EDX.
• Thermal analysis and data center cooling systems.
