📋 Description

• Own hardware and cloud infra; manage global server fleet and automation.
• Lead capacity planning, data center needs, and regional expansion.
• Evaluate, propose, and implement intrusion detection and hardening.
• Based in Vancouver with cross-time-zone collaboration; occasional on-site travel.
• Mentor engineers; lead complex systems and network troubleshooting.
• Partner with Security on hardening and incident prevention.

🎯 Requirements

• Infra-focused background in Systems or Software Engineering.
• Extensive Linux on-prem and cloud experience; automation at scale.
• Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewalls, LB concepts.
• Data center setup: racking, cabling, remote management.
• Experience with GCP or AWS; hybrid cloud environments.
• 5+ years in senior/lead roles; mentoring and cross-team collaboration.
