Sr. Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Own ARP4754A requirements across system, subsystem, and component levels with traceability.
• Author propulsion hardware/software requirements; fault detection, state machines, and interfaces; FHA/PSSA/SSA reviews.
• Lead cross-functional problem reviews; triage system-level issues and drive closure.
• Triage flight-test anomalies; own flight-critical open-issue portfolio; drive closure for flight readiness.
• Assess propulsion readiness at milestones; compile status, issues, verification results, and risk dispositions.
• Support airworthiness and certification with propulsion expertise for FAA means of compliance and verification traceability.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 8+ years in systems engineering on aviation programs with ARP4754A ownership.
• Experience authoring and owning large baselines in Polarion/DOORS/Jama with configuration control and traceability.
• Experience leading cross-functional problem resolution; FHA/PSSA/SSA participation as system requirements owner.
• DO-178C/DO-254 knowledge to audit verification artifacts and independence requirements.
• Familiar with aircraft communications; manage a large open-issue portfolio under certification schedule pressure; bonus: eVTOL/23/33, propulsion systems, HIL/SIL.
