Sr. Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide technology and product consulting for account opportunities.
• Perform high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers, prospects, and partners.
• Organize and lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities and design solutions meeting customer
• Support RFI/RFP responses and participate as a specialist on virtual teams.
• Travel domestically/internationally as required.
• Collaborate with account teams to drive successful outcomes for Extreme Networks customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in German and English with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry/territory.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental networking: Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, overlay
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based network management platforms; compute and
• Ability to work as part of customer project teams and qualify PoCs and overall solution designs.
• Willingness to travel as required.
