Sr. Wireless Software Engineer (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, test, and maintain the physical and MAC layer software for Starlink.
• Architect current and next-gen Starlink hardware and signal processing algorithms.
• Hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and launch.
• Collaborate with other teams on cross-layer integration of the end-to-end system.
• Develop prototypes to validate key design concepts and constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers to plan and organize product development.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering/math or 2+ years software experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with wireless software or network protocols.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications and signal processing.
• RF fundamentals: noise figure, link budget, non-linearity.
• Experience with RF/mixed-signal ICs or systems (PLL, mixers, DACs/ADCs).
• DSP algorithms: FFT, channel estimation, pilot tracking, DPD.
