Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide accounting oversight.
• Perform daily accounting activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain monthly workpaper reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Review expenses, adjust entries, and support financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support month-end close to meet reporting timelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 1–3 years preferred.
• Experience in property management, residential development, or similar industries.
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, GL.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar accounting platforms.
