Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Process day to day transactions in QuickBooks Online, including data entry, bank feed
• Reconcile bank, credit card and balance sheet accounts monthly; investigate differences and
• Record recurring accruals, prepaid releases, payroll and standard journal entries on schedule, each
• Allocate revenue and expenses to classes, jobs or projects (job costing) under each client’s policy
• Manage activity in client expense management platforms such as Ramp: receipts, coding, approvals
• Maintain subsidiary schedules (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, loans and deferred revenue) and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of accrual basis month end close experience
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO ProAdvisor certification a plus)
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong command of accrual accounting, including accruals, prepaids, deferred revenue, fixed assets
• End-to-end ownership of bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Working understanding of revenue recognition and how to book simple cases (advanced cases will be
