Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger
• Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities to ensure timely and accurate
• Reconcile cash and payroll-related accounts, including wages, benefits, taxes, workers'
• Reconcile intercompany accounts
• Analyze labor costs across multiple locations and business units.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
• 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• A mix of public accounting and corporate experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
