Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable (AP) & Corporate Accounting

📋 Description

• Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and reconciling items, resolve routine issues independently
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, supporting schedules, and account analyses to
• Support accounts payable cutoff, completeness reviews, and period-end accounting activities
• Review vendor invoices, corporate card transactions, and employee reimbursements to ensure
• Support corporate card, reimbursement, and bill payment processes while collaborating with Accounts

🎯 Requirements

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent
• Between 2 and 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with hands-on involvement in month-end
• A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, general ledger processes, and
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze financial
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
