Staff Accountant, Cyprus

📋 Description

• Own daily operational accounting for CBFSE; journal entries and reconciliations.
• Execute daily reconciliation reporting and CySEC/Central Bank submissions.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and eng teams for proper accounting.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and timely responses.
• Drive data analysis to identify trends and improve processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in CIF, Big Four, or fintech.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting; ACCA/ACA/CPA preferred; CySEC AML/Advanced a plus.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of IFRS with hands-on application.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, FloQast, and G-Suite; advanced Excel skills a plus.
• Familiarity with CySEC and CIF regulatory reporting.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.
