Staff Accountant I

📋 Description

• Perform daily cash reconciliations, related journal entries, and coordination with AR/AP to ensure
• Handle payroll accounting, including earnings, bonus, and benefits-related activity.
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting, including journal entries, lease schedules, new lease activity
• Perform CECL accounting under ASC 326, including reserve calculations and research of anomalies
• Conduct general ledger account analysis and variance explanations for balance sheet and P&L
• Participate in the monthly financial close process by preparing and posting month-end journal

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in public or private accounting.
• Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Strong Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare clear, supportable
• NetSuite and Power BI experience preferred.
• Ability to research variances, identify root causes, and present recommended solutions.
