Staff Accountant II

📋 Description

• Lead monthly GL close; journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly; verify deposits; respond to inquiries.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flows.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting to support management decisions.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accounting best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of enterprise-level accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting best practices.
• Advanced MS Excel; pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis.
• Experience with FinancialForce or similar.
• On-site in Jersey City 1-2 days per week.
