Staff Accountant (US experience)

📋 Description

• Establish procedures and policies to facilitate effective and efficient financial reporting and
• Ensure that the project fulfills all financial obligations in a timely and economic manner in
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and working capital requirements.
• Monitor government contracts and private restricted funding to ensure full financial utilization.
• Process employee expenses, vendor project invoices and program payroll analytics.
• Perform month-end closing activities including Balance Sheet reconciliations.

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related concentration.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience handling US government contracts is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), be able to
• Demonstrate strong proficiency using advanced computer skills in MS Excel and Accounting Software
• Professional communication skills with a strong command of the English language both verbal and
• Experience with handling sensitive and confidential data.
