Staff AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of ML/AI systems at scale.
• Define AI architecture and engineering standards for scalable products.
• Build scalable ML platforms and pipelines for reliable model development.
• Set AI-forward engineering standards and promote Claude and Cursor adoption.
• Partner with product, engineering, leadership to align AI strategy with business outcomes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering; 4+ years AI/ML in production.
• Deep hands-on generative AI development experience.
• Proven track record shipping complex agentic systems.
• Extensive RAG pipelines experience with embeddings and vector databases.
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• API design experience and scalable integrations with internal and third party services.
• Proficiency with Claude Code, Cursor, and AI frameworks and orchestration tools.
• Deep understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices.
