📋 Description

• Build AI-powered features for Strava's product used by millions.
• Design and ship GenAI platform: LLMs, orchestration, prompts, RAG, search.
• Create self-serve interfaces to enable product teams to ship GenAI features.
• Own end-to-end AI delivery from design to production with reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define the AI roadmap.
• Leverage Strava's fitness and geo datasets to drive insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building/operating production AI or backend systems at scale.
• Experience building AI platform tooling and developer infra for LLM/ML; API design.
• Hands-on with LLMs in production: prompts, RAG, embeddings, Langchain.
• Proficiency in search systems: Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Backend development on AWS using Python/Go; distributed systems, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Strong technical leadership across multi-team projects.
• Curiosity about GenAI landscape; model capabilities, agents, multimodal systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration to align partners.
