Staff Analytics Engineer – AI-Powered Analytics

📋 Description

• Build semantic layer, metrics, and engineering practices for reliable data queries.
• Collaborate with data eng, product, and leadership while staying hands-on.
• Build semantic layer and LLM-powered workflows (text-to-SQL, RAG).
• Design and operate analytics stack: Lakehouse on S3 with StarRocks; Fivetran/Kafka ingestion; dbt; Superset; AWS EKS.
• Create governed data products with strong quality, governance, and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Design and own semantic layers, metrics models, and dimensional models with production-grade SQL and Python.
• Hands-on in AI analytics: text-to-SQL, RAG, prompting and context engineering.
• Experience building trusted data products with testing, documentation, contracts, and lineage.
• Partner with product/leadership to identify high-value AI analytics opportunities and scale platform capabilities.
• Clear communication, governance mindset, data quality focus, and design-review skills.
