Staff Application Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the application layer (frontend & backend) of CertifyOS.
• Define architecture, API contracts, and scalable patterns.
• Drive technical strategy; shape engineering culture and practices.
• Design scalable frontend with React/TypeScript and component systems.
• Define API versioning, resource models, and external contracts.
• Ensure performance and reliability as data grows.
• Integrate AI capabilities into product with latency handling and UX.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building production full-stack systems at Staff/Lead level.
• Defined architecture and technical direction with enterprise impact.
• Influenced engineering practices via design docs, code reviews, credibility.
• Led cross-functional tech initiatives across product, design, and backend.
• Deep backend (Java) and API contracts; frontend React/TypeScript.
• External-facing APIs: versioning, backward compatibility, developer UX.
• AI-era engineering: integrating AI/LLM into production apps, streaming UX.
