Staff Applied AI Researcher (Agentic Search)

📋 Description

• Drive applied AI research and define technical direction of advanced retrieval and ranking systems
• Design and develop intelligent search capabilities supporting from low-latency single-step queries
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models for retrieval and ranking.
• Design multi-stage retrieval architectures including query understanding, rewriting, retrieval
• Lead experiments with advanced information retrieval techniques.
• Translate emerging research into practical solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in applied AI, ML, or software engineering.
• Proven track record of deploying ML/AI systems in large-scale production.
• Deep expertise in information retrieval, search, ranking, or RAG.
• Strong understanding of deep learning, especially transformers and embeddings.
• Experience building LLM-integrated applications.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks for ML systems.
