Staff Attorney - Product

📋 Description

• Serve as primary legal contact for data privacy, GDPR, and policy updates.
• Review product features and tech for PII handling; advise on licensing and risk.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on privacy questions and report findings to stakeholders.
• Advise on legal/ethical frameworks for AI governance within Life.Church.
• Negotiate, draft, and manage content licenses, partnerships, and licensing.
• Manage IP matters, including trademarks, copyright, and branding.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor with license in good standing to practice law.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience; employment law preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy law, including GDPR and US frameworks.
• Experience with IP law: licensing, trademark, and copyright.
• Ability to advise on emerging technology legal issues, including AI governance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; distill complex concepts.
