Staff Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end backend, including LLM orchestration and workflows.
• Build identity and knowledge layers for smarter interactions.
• Work in a greenfield environment with full ownership.
• Tackle non-deterministic AI workloads and real-time personalization.
• Design agent networks and trust/autonomy systems.
• Architect end-to-end backend for AI-native experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend experience with scalable systems.
• Experience with LLM infrastructure or real-time AI workloads.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Ability to define technical direction in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Experience building AI-native workflows and tooling is a plus.
• In-person, five days a week in NYC.
