Staff Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• End-to-End ownership of backend services and connectors in Go.
• Translate goals into modular designs and execute.
• Design reliable components for database scraping and network protocol mgmt (SSH/Telnet/SNMP).
• On-call ownership; incident response and root-cause analysis with automation.
• Drive velocity by reducing tech debt, CI/CD, and observability.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and align with global architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering; 3+ years building cloud-native backends.
• Staff-level (P4) ownership; independently own large tasks end-to-end.
• Domain & Protocol Expertise: PAM/IAM or deep networking; credential management.
• Go proficiency; strong Go skills (or Java/C++/Rust with Go mastery).
• Distributed systems & networking: SSH, Telnet, TCP/IP; microservices.
• Cloud & Operational Toolkit: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, telemetry.
• Multiplier mindset: empathy, humility, clear communication.
