Staff Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own cloud security architecture across GCP (IAM, VPC, KMS, policy).
• Design, deploy, and tune Cloudflare & Google Cloud Armor defenses.
• Lead threat modeling and security reviews for new services.
• Build security guardrails as code with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Advance cloud detection/response with SOC, SIEM, and logging.
• Serve as senior security responder during incidents.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in security engineering; at least 5 years cloud security.
• Deep GCP security: IAM, networking, VPC Service Controls, SCC, KMS, policies.
• Experience with Cloudflare: WAF, DDoS, Zero Trust, Bot Management, Cloud Armor.
• IaC using Terraform; secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation.
• Experience securing workloads in regulated industries (PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO, SOX).
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to influence without direct authority.
