Staff Connectivity Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead PICS documentation and SOP/MOP development across Lambda data centers.
• Ensure adherence to PICS standards for connectivity performance and continuity.
• Develop dashboards for operations metrics, KPI, and project status.
• Serve as PICS SME for internal teams; manage vendor relations.
• Drive development, qualification, and deployment of new connectivity products (NPI).
• Participate in design reviews and site deployments; perform regular site visits.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data center cabling infrastructure engineering.
• Deep knowledge of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems.
• Hands-on experience with installation standards, specs, cabling architectures.
• Strong vendor, OEM, and supply chain engagement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives (engineering, construction, operations).
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEC).
• Ability to read/create/modify technical drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam).
• Nice to have: AI/HPC cluster architectures and GPU deployments.
• Nice to have: Certifications (RCDD, DCDC, CFHP, BICSI).
