Staff Data Engineer - Data & ML Platform

📋 Description

• Own data platform architecture and technical direction.
• Lead cross-team data initiatives end-to-end.
• Set data standards, contracts, and schema evolution.
• Ensure platform reliability with SLAs/SLOs and observability.
• Build tooling to help teams own their data.
• Deliver high-quality data assets with ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 4+ years of data engineering experience building and operating reliable production data platforms at scale.
• 4+ years strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• 4+ years distributed data processing (PySpark, Flink, Spark) and data warehouse design (star and snowflake).
• 3+ years deploying and operating pipelines in the cloud, including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• Preferred: 8+ years data engineering experience with production data platforms.
