Staff Data Platform Software Engineer - Veza

📋 Description

• Act as technical expert for the Veza Access Graph, identifying broad challenges and parsing them
• Solve complex problems with no established precedent, from architecture through implementation
• Define coding standards and engineering best practices
• Identify opportunities to simplify systems and drive large-scale simplification
• Deliver significant direct technical contributions and independently drive design reviews
• Set roadmap and prioritization for workstreams

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years backend software development experience focusing on scalable distributed systems, data
• Distributed systems fundamentals: consistency models, partitioning/sharding, replication
• Graph database internals: traversal algorithms, query planning/optimization, indexing strategies
• Go at systems-programming level: concurrency, memory/performance tuning, production experience
• Large-scale data modeling: schema design for graphs with high cardinality/fan-out
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs in microservice architectures
