Staff Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Drive Rider Segments, Loyalty, and Partnerships roadmaps and goals.
• Partner with product/engineering/UX/marketing to scale zero-to-one products via data.
• Define and maintain objectives aligned with Rider, Marketplace, and Lyft goals.
• Apply modeling, analytics, experiments, and causal inference to guide decisions.
• Drive cross-org impact and align product/strategy through data-driven presentations.
• Advise teams; be a thought leader for stakeholders and dependency teams.

🎯 Requirements

• M.S. with 6+ years or Ph.D. with 4+ years relevant experience.
• Degree in economics, applied math, statistics, engineering, or quantitative fields.
• Proficiency in SQL; write efficient queries on large data sets.
• Fluency in Python or R for data science and visualization.
• Experience designing/analyzing complex A/B tests; communicate results.
• Strong oral/written communication; present to cross-functional stakeholders.
