Staff Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Design causal frameworks that reveal unit economics, attribution, and intervention impact
• Build experimentation infrastructure that enables rapid iteration and statistical rigor
• Identify and own high leverage models: pricing, ranking, user incentive systems
• Mentor junior data scientists and set the standard for causality, measurement, and trade-offs
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to convert data insights into business action

🎯 Requirements

• Proven autonomy with track record of moving unit economics through novel approaches
• Deep experience with causal inference: propensity matching, DID, synthetic control, IV estimation
• Led complex multi-arm experiments; designed or owned MMM, MTA, or uplift modelling systems
• Built and deployed models in production environments (Gaming, AdTech, user incentive systems)
• Comfortable with modern data stacks: dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Strong communication and presence to drive clarity in ambiguous situations
