📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for modeling weather patterns and their impact on Waymo’s ride-hailing service in
• Build pipelines and models integrating weather data sources to enhance weather intelligence and
• Measure Waymo Driver performance in adverse weather and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop scalable analysis frameworks for multiple climate types domestically and internationally.
• Optimize operational processes for adverse weather across geographies to be smarter and more
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and systems leads to align roadmaps and improve measurement

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics).
• PhD plus 8+ years or 12+ years of industry experience solving data science problems.
• Experience with spatio-temporal data and leading technical teams.
• Strong background in advanced statistical methods; familiarity with ML systems/models.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and/or SQL for data analysis.

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range: $251,000 — $310,000 USD.
