Staff Data Systems Architect

📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end systems design of the MyFitnessPal product data stack
• Develop, drive, and maintain the systems architecture roadmap for the product data stack
• Serve as the primary point of contact in Data Platform for the consolidated data stack
• Define and enforce data movement and standardization discipline across the stack
• Lead architecture review of new tool decisions, vetting vendors against the existing stack
• Contribute to the compliance architecture for user data, including PII tagging and a deletion/DSR

🎯 Requirements

• 8 - 12+ years in systems design, architecture, or engineering roles, including 3 - 5 years
• Experience architecting the integrations of a modern customer data stack - product analytics
• Experience in Snowflake or similar cloud data platform, including performance tuning, cost
• Experience leading vendor evaluations, tool consolidations, or platform migrations
• Experience implementing data governance, security, and compliance frameworks, including PII
• Demonstrated experience defining architecture standards adopted across a team or organization, and
